A date has finally been set to break ground on the new Swift-Cantrell skate park located in Kennesaw.  The ceremony will take place on Thursday, January 10 at 11:00 AM. Reps from SITE Design Group and California Skateparks will be there to mark the occasion.

This will be the first ever permanent skatepark with features based on competition level street design.

Construction will go through two phases. The first being the main skate structures, additional parking and restrooms. Other parts of the skate park will be built during the second phase after additional funding is raised. [click to continue…]
